There are many many of such codes on the net. Just make search of .... lets say "Free php guestbook scripts" or some thing similar.

Then you can go through those codes and see how they do it. I do this some time to make my coding grammar better.

The resource I use the most is the online documentation at [php.net...] because you can type any function name into the address bar and it brings up the documentation, examples, and comments about how to use it. For example: [php.net...]
