function in imagick for gd's imagecreatetruecolor()

I want to know if there's an equivalent in imagick for gd's imagecreatetruecolor. thanks

A quick search did not yield anything for me. Is there a reason you aren't using GD?

GD has a memory allocation problem since it uses memory allocated to PHP and not the system memory.

I got this error-

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9088 bytes) in...

but when the administrator allocated more memory it was solved.

But i want to try imagick coz it doesnt have that constarint. thanks
