what is the best IDE for php

i use dreamweaver to make websites but when i have to code the php i code it manually because the dreamweaver support for php is terrible, is there another software package that i can try, what do all the pros use (i.e. what do yuo guys use)

I use a nice free package which is currently under development called PHPedit

You can get it at [phpedit.net...]

I would go for the latest development thread (0.8.0.28) as version 6 has a lot of holes in it.

If you already have Dreamweaver MX I found it ok for syntax highlighting for PHP, But if you are planning to code a lot in PHP and want some nice extra features and can spend some money Zend Studio is worth a look.
