CSS within PHP page

Hi guys and gals,

I have only dabbled with a bit of PHP, but have had a typing test created and the coder isnt replying to my messages to help me with the design layout/CSS.

If someone could give me a start i think i can work the rest out, but I dont know where to begin. I know it has to be placed in the <head> (heading) of the PHP page. I just need someone to point it out to me or a site that explains and I will be on my way. THANKS

what exactly do you need? someone to show you where the head is? or to point out how to do the CSS?
