$ SERVER["HTTP REFERER"] doesn't show anything

Put a script I already use on a few sites on to a new site. Couldn't get some of the pages to work and the only thing different is that they use $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"].

I put an echo $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"] script up on it's own and the page is blank other than the text I wrote to show next to it.

Any advice on what I need to change? (I use Plesk on all my servers and thought settings were the same across the board).

Then again, I just turned of http_referer in Firefox and visited the pages on the other sites and they are still showing fine. Would that indicate Http_referer is not the problem?

Hard to say. Is there an actual referrer being set? You are linking to the page in question?
