I'm looking for a good news and weather script

I find hundreds but haven't a clue which is best

I went over to HotScripts and found hundreds of news scripts.

Maybe you are familiar with a good one and can make suggestions. I need one that i can target a geo area like a given state, city or subject.

Hi SlimKim,

"best" in this case is often only relevant to you, the end user. Repository sites like sourceforge.net often have a "most popular" or "number of downloads" spec that may provide some insight as to which are getting the most attention. If you are concerned about future updates, etc. you will also want to review the development team and how active the project is at any given time.

You're welcome. Sorry there isn't a "quick" answer. Even if 20 people responded with specific open source solutions, you would have only whittled your "hundreds" down to 20. I hope this makes sense and good luck with the project.
