return to, reply to, sender id but still email does not come back

using mail() but bounced emails go to server not to the ID

hi,

I have this WHM/cpanel server. Whenever we send emails using mail() the emails never come back to the sender ID or reply id or return id. It always goes back to the server mail queue.

can anyone please suggest what is that setting I need to change in order to make sure that emails go back to the sender account ID.

Are you setting the From: additional header (4th argument to the mail() function)? (A default From address might be specified in php.ini that relates to the server)
