Hi, first let me say that I know it is a lot of information on this website about PHP vs ASP.Net. The thing is I graduate in May with my AAS in Computer Information Systems.
I want to eventually become a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or Oracle DBA but for now I need to get my foot in the door. Which language would better prepare me or help me to become a DBA and why? I currently have very limited skills and PHP and really don't know anything about ASP.Net.
Any information on what I should do will be greatly valued by me. Thanks

Either language will merely interface with a database API if available, otherwise you will likely incorporate ODBC. Standard Query Language (SQL) is where you may want to place your focus.
