PHPmailer Error

Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

Hello, i just updraded the Phpmailer versio to the last released in Nov2008.

Im using SMTP and SMTPAth, everything works fine when i send emails to email address that are located under my server (IIS6) but if y try to send them to users outside my server gives me this error: Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

I have been looking around for a solution before posting here but i didnt find an answer.

My mail() function works fine, so i dont know what can be causing this.

Are you using SMTP on your server that is running PHP and the mail function? How do you have your php.ini file directives set for SMTP?
