upload a zip

i have a site that allows the upload of individual .jpg files

this is very inconvenient for people that want to upload a lot of pics

how can i make it so they can upload a .zip file and the script will extract all .jpg files from it (even if they are in subdirectories) and copy them to "pics/"

does anyone have a script that does this?

if not can you point me in the right direction?
functions i'll need?

and the user comments on the page as well and see if that helps
