Any good scripts for user to subscribe to my mailing list ?

Hi guys,

I would like to create a website with many content.. articles, story and etc.. thats the easy part.

The additional feature is to allow my users (Registered members) to subscribe to their favorite topics. For example, If today, I uploaded a good article about Cars, it will automatically send an email to all users (registered members) who loves to read about cars.

Can somebody please help gives some advice, on how to go about this ?
or could you please recommend me some good scripts or programs out there which helps solve this ?

Seems straighforward. As you INSERT the new article to your table, check for users that are on a *watch* for that category and email the article and/or the link to them. What part are you stuck on?
