Can someone please sticky me a suggestion for a PHP encoder. I have a project that I want to release but I need to obfuscate the PHP code first and the program I purchased requires extra decoder files and it's just a pain in the rear.

I just want something that obfuscates the PHP code, doesn't require anything to be installed to get the obfuscated code to work, and results in PHP code that will run on any PHP enabled server.

I'm starting to pull my hair out here and I don't want to end up with an open source project.

the quickest way I can think is the way some people encode their footers in wordpress (with a base64) I think. About all I can offer am afraid :(

Thanks for the base64 suggestion, it lead me to some other searches. It's one step closer.
