Thanks to read this,
If you have any experience installing hsbc cpi on other than oscommerce please read this. Help is required and i would be great full
I have a virtual private linux serveur with access to every settings.
I've followed both Hsbc instructions and many other that i've found over the web, but i'm still enable to create an OrderHash,
I have many questions regarding this installation and the professionalisms of hsbc, as this seems to be a night mare for many people including me.
According to all information i have till now i've went through the following step :
- Coping sample.html to the root of my client's website
- Coping all other files (result, orderhash, ss.txt) to my cgi-bin folder (this option ended up into : no such file found when submitting the sample.html form), so i choose the option given by hsbc and copied all files into https folder (which seems to bring a result even though it's not the result expected)
-install the library into usr/lib from the root of the linux server itself.
edit the sample.html file to point every link to the correct path on my client's website
and all should be ok, should be ...
I'm working on it since 3 days, went through most the web but still lost and i'm out of ideas now
i've a question regarding those result and orderhash files : is it normal that the extension is .e and not .exe ? as my server seems not to understand .e, but does understand .exe even though no wanted result is coming
second question would be why it can't find the files when i put it in cgi-bin? apache seems to be configured to find it correctly
and best of all why can't i get through the orderhash.e or .exe, what ever?
i'm allowed to execute cgi files and the required files have 755 authorization
If any one of you have ever done this and could be any help, please let me know. at this point i'm totally desperate :(
Thanks for reading until now and please contact me if you have any suggestions.
Kind regards
