PHP Form attracting spam

Some kind of spammer or spam engine is targeting my site?

Hi,

I have just created a site for a client that has a dynamic PHP web form on it. Unfortunately it seems to be getting attacked by some kind of spam engine or maybe just a spammer?

As an example one of the fields is for ADDRESS.
The sender/engine has put in the following text:

FVOsoC <a href=\"http://qxzbqxxiouyo.com/\">qxzbqxxiouyo</a>, hrdkmfymfxeb [hrdkmfymfxeb.com], [link=http://llisqnwmlveq.com/]llisqnwmlveq[/link], [epfdjdsxsfde.com...]

Is this dangerous in anyway? or just annoying.
Is there also a way to prevent this, I'm very new to PHP and can only think that putting the HTML form in an include file might help.

Thanks in advance.

Erdy.

Yeah, welcome to the wide world of 'won't you please leave my poor website alone'. After a while it just gets plain tiresome.
