How can I have a search on a site which searches two different sites?

Basically I have a search box on my site and I would like to add a radio button which will allow me to search another site...

Is this possible?

More information is going to be required for this one.

Are you planning to search a database, have Google spider results for you?

Are the sites running from two different databases?

Etc.

Ok.... I have a Joomla based website, which uses the generic Joomla search - which is searching the a MySQL database.

However the other site I don't have access to.... I want if possible to put a radio button below my search box which will allow my visitors to search the other site and the results to open with the chosen site.

Yes, the sites are running two different databases..... I don't believe the other is using a database at all...

sounds like it isn't your site, if not, then your best bet may be a site search through a search engine

I will explain a little better... our company has two different websites in two different courntries - our content is in the same language so we want to be able to let the user search from my site into the other coutnries site.

but i only have access to one.

if you don't have access to it then it is the same as if it wasn't yours

you could spider it and store a copy for searching
you could ask them for access
you could ask them for a copy for searching
you could use a site: search from a search engine
