configuration site in PHP

$_server['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] is not working inLinux

Hi,

I am developing one site in the PHP and Apache2.2 openssl .

When i configured the path using the $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'],it working fine at the Windows based server.

When i run my programs on the LINUX OS,it is not working properly.

Kindly guide me to solve this issue.

Can you elaborate on it not working correctly? What is the issue with the doc_root? Is it not being set?
