Looking for a script that will take a HTML web page and convert it to correctly formatted RSS or XML.

There are some that do the reverse (RSS -> HTML) but only one that does HTML->RSS, and it doesn't seem to work.

I don't want to have to 'roll my own' if I can help it.

Thank you.

I'm not sure how you aren't going to "roll you own" given the task you want to complete. All HTML is formatted differently, there might be things you don't want to include in the XML. Then there's the whole structure of the XML itself that you have to worry about. It is certainly easy to go from XML to HTML but not entirely the same going the other way around. What are you trying to do, if I might ask?

No, you may not [grin].

Doh! I found the software I was customising had some code I could use. However, I gave up on the idea, as, after a nice cup of tea and a biscuit, as I realised I was going too far.

If at first you don't succeed, quit!
