Does that mean that 2.6.9-nn.n.1 is OK?

Do you mean PHP version 2.6.9? I'd call the local internet archaeologist to report a species thought to be extinct. Don't touch it :)

In Cpanel it says 5.2.5 but when you look at info it says
Linux server.example.com 2.6.9-nn.nn (some characters). So does that mean there's nothing to worry about?

Ah, sorry, now I get it. Linux kernel 2.6.9.
To me the fixed security bugs don't seem extremely critical, but if possible, you should upgrade PHP nevertheless. You never know. And there are 120 bug fixes.
I actually googled 2.6.9-nn.n.1. There was one result, this thread ;)
