How do you get php3 and php4 pages to work on a server?

Any one have any idea what to put in a php 5 php.ini to get php4 php3 pages to show up other than a blank page?

It's more likely you are going to need to modify your Apache configuration, not the php.ini file. Have a look at your particular server set up as well as the Apache AddHandler [httpd.apache.org] directive.
