server path without php enabled

I have a friend with one of those free host packages, and of course php is disabled.

Is there anyway to find out the server path without php enabled on a server?

I've had a quick search on google but nothing comes up.

You'll likely have to ask them. However, why ask if you cannot use server-side technology? I mean, if it is disabled, the knowledge of the server-side specifics is useless to you.
