Compiling PHP for .NET?

One of the great advantages of .NET framework is its speed. Once ASP code is compiled, it loads and works so quickly! I've heard a few things here and there about PHP compilers. I know it's possible because .NET uses a common language and all you need is an interpreter for that code in order to compile your code for .NET. So what's the best one (if you know?)?

I've had a look at that, but it's still in beta. Also, it looks like that you can take your PHP code and compile it for .NET but it can only use .NET's classes and extensions, not PHP's. For example, if you used ImageMagick with PHP, you'd have to then find the extension for .NET before you were able to use your PHP code.
