User registration, login, management script or class?

Hi, i've been searching for a user registration, login, management script to integrate with my port. Has anyone found a good open source or free script?

I gone through about 10 scripts, the best i can find is this <snip>, but there are shortfalls like it uses only phpmail and the interface is quite rudimentary.

This question is asked quite often here in the forums. A quick search over the topic will turn up loads of discussion. The short answer is, it is often different for everyone and you'll have to do a little testing/homework to get the solution you desire. We are here for you if you run into any issues though!
