Any ideas? Basically something that would allow me to upload/copy/delete/edit webfiles. It would probably use a WYSIWYG javascript editor. Not really looking for a CMS because they don't work with existing html files. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you want a standalone app that you would use on your (Windows?) machine, like:

Kompozer (NVU fork):

Thanks for the suggestion, but for what I'm doing, I would prefer an online editor.

The FCKeditor is a terrific editor that I've used before but isn't it only a javascript editor? Doesn't it need to be implemented with something else?

Are there any PHP web files apps that allow users to see a directory drilldown, copy files, upload files, rename files, etc... and then use the FCKEditor for editing?

sounds like you are looking for a Content Management System

I actually have quite a bit of experience with CMS's (especially Drupal) however they're not quite what I'm looking for. The problem with most CMS's is that they require you to create a template and then individual pages must be created within the system and exist only in a DB.

This takes too much time, and what I'm looking to do is to offer a system to people with simple existing websites with html files and images, the option to log into applicationx like /edit/admin, see a directory listing of their files, have them have the ability to upload images, rename files, delete files, and edit html with a WYSIWYG editor.

I used to use a program called WebEdit but this has licensing issues that I don't want to bother with.
