i have some clients who want a small website to advertise an apartment they own in portugal! they want the site to be simple, perhaps a simple css layout, but they also want to be able to add there own content! i thought perhaps a CMS but thats probably a little complicated for them,

so what i thought was perhaps a text file driven site, pretty basic nothing amazing, nice layout in css and bang in the text? cool.

that fine use an include statement to pull in the text files, but i dont want to go through explaining how to use ftp clients, they need something web based, a password protected page where they have an interface to the site and they can edit as the choose direct to the text file ineffect directly updating the site!

does anyone know of anything excisitng that can achieve this or anything i can producce to achieve this?

they also want to create a gallery of pics? any php galleries out there?

I would wander through the online scripts and find a stripped down CMS somewhere, there are tons of them around. I would look for the simplest one you can find and extend it if need be.
