Dear all,

I have used Google to browse for this kind of topic on this forum, but I have found nothing, so I have to post here to call for your help.

I have successfully set up the SMF, however, the only problem is that:

After I fill the login information, and wait for some seconds, the forum redirect me to a blank page, then I HAVE to refresh the page before I can view the forums.

http://example.com/forum/index.php?action=login2 (this is blank page and need to be refreshed for viewing the forum)

Could you please tell me what is that problem and how to fix.

I treasure your time and help.

Dear Dreamcatcher,

I have tried posting on as many forums as I could including SMF, Yahoo Answers, ect but got no response yet. You are the first one replied me.

Thank you very much, and do hope that here I can get help.

you'd have to dig into the index.php and see what code it is executing when the param action=login2 is passed

the answer will be in there

Dear all,

I do not know why when I try to access from deferent computers and ISPs, the problems seem to go away, but when I use my computer, it does not redirect me. So strange.

Note that I have deleted all cookies before starting.

Best.

Try using a different browser on your system. If what you mentioned is the case, it could be from the browser settings. Are your cookies enabled, as it redirects it might be trying to write but you might have your cookies disabled.
