has anyone got a good solution for this?...cheap preferrably.
You will need someone to do a "mashup" of the Google Maps API and code that communicates with the MLS server.
Depending on what the "local MLS server" is running, how it connects to the web, etc. the project could be very complicated, and most likely, not very cheap at all.
Also, given the value that the application would add to realtors, it's easy to see why it wouldn't come cheap. If there would be little or no added value, then the project would not be worth doing. ;)
