Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

ERROR 2003: Please Help

Hi all,

I am getting this error, while try to connect to mysql, what might be the problem, I tried to download other version, all are giving me the same error.

ERROR 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

How can I correct it?

What I do most often is take the exact error message and paste it into G and G Groups and see what comes up.

I tried for your error and there are a bunch of results. It looks like a config issue.
