Apparently, in IE 7, PHP pages are not wanted to render things like the "R" or registrered trademark symbols, the "TM" of trademark, and the "C" for copyright.
I can craft an HTML page and IE7 displays it fine. If I convert it to a PHP IE7 shows is as either a square or a question-mark.
Has anyone else run into this?

Hi mcjohnson,
How are you displaying the code in your php? Works fine for me in ie7.

An addendum:
When I tried this same page on a different host, the symbols worked and rendered fine.
It looks like something on the host server itself. Hmm....I'll initiate a trouble ticket w/ the hosting company but I am curious as to what would be the reason. Updated PHP version, perhaps?
