apache version 1.3.37(unix)

provides PHP version 4.4.4 and Perl Version 5.8.7

in general server information.

If we compare both, PHP version looks older .

What could be the significance of the provision?

As I know the newest php release is 4.4.6 (apart from 5.2.1), so 4.4.4 is not so old, really
but to say the truth, frankly I don't know what your question is about.

Could you rephrase it, please?

angnima, welcome to Webmaster World. :)

Are you maybe confusing PHP with CGI?

Do you think php and perl versions should match? They should not.
