I was wondering how websites like pricegrabber.com work?

If anyone has any idea as to how they pull the prices off of the other websites, please let me know.

Thanks,
Ron

They are most likely using an XML feed from the online retailers, using a leal system.

This can be done without XML feeds but again, it's all about permission from the retailer.

Yea feeds are the key with these services, they probably download feeds for all products on a regular basis and store all the information localy. Their algo is them able to present users with comparisons.

XML is one of the most effective ways of acheiving this.

Hmmm...

So XML sheets eh? Now where can you find the XML sheets and what not? For instance, how would I be able to find the XML sheet for say... www.half.com?

Thanks,
Ron
