Someone had suggested using this site to check my speed and other things for my site and so I did, not expecting any problems.

Well over and over I tried this at various times of the day. In fact I went to other sites that offered such a service or offered website analysis for meta-tags and the like.
I would get this error returned
Error: 500 Can't connect to www.myurl.com:80 (connect: Connection refused)
or URL not found.
What is UP with this? My site is up and functioning. Is something not letting it scan it on the other side for this information on WP's end or my hosts?
My hosts says not them ( GATE.COM ) and when I ran these tests I even checked to see if my sitre was up and functioning. What would cause this? It does have me concerned at this point.
I also signed up for a free server check with Net Mechanic and they are monitering my server for 8 hours.
I have gotten THREE reports so far:
Both said the same thing below, except the time was different (1/2 hour apart)
At 21:10:0 USA Eastern Time your server for the domain:

failed to respond to our Server Check robot. This problem could be temporary. Please check your Web site to be sure it is functioning.
My site is not down...anyone have a clue as to what might be going on?
I was also having a BIG issue earler today with my GATE.com host account where it was stating in my FTP screen, when it got stuck and would not connect, the following error:
Cannot build data connection ... no child processes.
Is this also related? And what exacttly is this?
They keep saying "well your site is up even if its saying this, so whats the problem!" And of course would not divuldge on anything else. Grrrrrhhhhhh
This is also a WordPress Template.
Thanks for your help.
