"City" credit pre-approval integration

I am working with a client that might require integrating within its site to be, a “City” credit pre-approval system

I checked similar sites; A link from the main site goes to "City" and opens a new https page PHP generated
Before I contact them
Has anyone done it?
Any experience to share?

are you just talking geo-location?

easy enough to have a visitor get pushed/redirected to a subdomain based on IP

could have SE repercussions though if you redirect every incoming to a subdomain

It sounds like he wants to be able to accept purchase orders from a city government's purchasing department. Is it a particular city it needs to work with or any city? Or did I misunderstand?

I'd just accept any purchase order number in lieu of a credit card number and then require the purchaser to also fax/mail in a hard copy of the purchase order. Then manually match them up -- if they don't have terms, put the order on hold until they do otherwise process the order and send the bill.

This will require additional programming to offer an admin screen for the management of these types of orders but is mostly an "offline" business practice.

OOOPS, I see where you coming from
I was not precise enough, the double quotes surrounding CITY, were to mean CITY as the short for CITY FINANCIAL. (like when we say Visa)
Plus they found it by temselves (just got an email)
it's the result of a special affiliate program!
