set gmail smtp server setting

hi ,

i want to set SMTP server setting in my mail script .

i am setting : SMTP Server : smtp.gmail.com

Port : 465 or 587

but its not working

can anyone help me.

I don't know if you noticed, but gmail requires authentification of the user.
[mail.google.com...]

Port 465

it requires ssl and smtp authentification. I haven't checked, but you can try
[poss.sourceforge.net...]
[esmtp.sourceforge.net...]
