I want to start a new website and I need users to post theyr home videos. How can I convert those videos (that will be in various formats: .avi .mpg ...) to .swf (something like youtube) so that anyone to be able to see those clips in the browser.
Can you tell me is there is a server-side script that automaticly convert those videos? I am verry interested.

I foud some interesting tools on sourceforge.
I need a conversion software to convert films sent by my users. CAn someone tell me if he/she used such kind of script...
