inserting table data via file

I am trying to simplify my addition of links to my database.

I use yahoo hosting, and my admin on the site.

i have created a bunch of links that i manually enter, one at a time.

the issue is this: whenever i try to insert multiple links via a text or excel file, i run into errors.

does anyone using this format know the proper syntax for setting up my query?

It depends on how you access with the database. For example, you could be using phpMyAdmin [phpmyadmin.net], which allows for SQL files to be uploaded, or maybe Yahoo has its own control panel for accessing your database?
