Check to See if a Program is Running

Hey all,

is there any specific way to check to see if a certain program is up and running? Like I want something to pop up only if program ****.exe is running.

Any tips are appreciated.

If you mean a program running on a client computer, then I'm pretty sure the answer is a definate no. It would be a security risk IMO.

I mean the computer in which the PHP is being run on.
