I'm not a big fan of PHP. But recently I had to begin to work with it a bit. I didn't notice it has some OO capabilities. Last time I tried to seriously learn it was like 7 years ago, I don't remember it had it.

Things change. 7 years is a long time. It's all over the web, just do a search. If you're wanting php and OO I hear php5 is the way to go.
