pros and cons of using php image on articles

hi all,
I am fed up with scrapper sites, they copied my articles and rank obove me, so I would like to put articles on image using php image creator, so I would like to know pros and cons of doing that.

The most obvious cons are that a whole article made into an image will can take a long time for the visitor to download; a lot of your bandwidth; a lot of processing power for the server to create it on the fly.

[UserFriendly]

Plus Google won't be able to read your page at all, so you'll rank nowhere.

Unless you add a huge alt attribute to the image, in which case scrapers will be able to read your site too.

Any measure that I can think of to keep scrapers out would probably keep search engine spiders out, too. :(
