problems creating the orderhash

After trying to reply to the older posts I have had to create a new one. I have read as many post on various forums I can find about this subject but as yet I have found no real answer that I understand.

I have got the HSBC CPI gateway to work when submitting to CcOrderHash.e and then submitting the results of that form to HSBC.

I don't know how to create the orderhash myself though. I am using what seems like a little known cart called surfshop and only have this one problem to solve before I can go live.

If somebody can tell me how to create an orderhash from HTML before submitting to HSBC I would be ecstatic!

You don`t seem to have had any joy with your post. Did you sort this problem out? Does the hash have to meet a required criteria or are you just wanting to create some kind of random identifier?
