how do i limit a http request from an IP , just like the one used on popular download sites such as rapidshare. where a single user can only download one file at a time.
i wan't to implement this method on my new video blog. can anyone point me to a script that fit the job description?

Have you considered what this will do to users that go through proxies? Do you really want to limit AOL as though it was a single user?

hmm, didn't thought about that. but if it's simply AOL users ur worried about, it shouldn't be a problem. coz i'm not targeting US visitors.
