Thanks, I did take a look at that page originally. But what exactly does it do? Does it write code for you? Its seems too complicated for me. :(

hehe, i doubt it. ;)

Simply put it is a system for seperating your content from the design. You feed the content to smarty and it grabs it and pops it into the site design for you. Helps quite a bit in managing a site.

I have never used it to be honest. Take a look at Smarty PHP libraries [webmasterworld.com]. There are some links in there that talk about templating engines.
