I've done a lot of searching through hotscripts and elsewhere to see if there's a full-featured hotel reservation system built in PHP/MySQL that I can integrate into an existing site. I haven't found any standouts. Has anyone had any experience with particular software in this area? The client currently uses an external booking engine, but we'd like to enable those transactions locally. I can't build it myself, so the only options are to buy something I can work with or subcontract. If I go the latter route, it would only be with someone who has a record of success with live reservation systems. Thanks for any ideas.

I don't know of any off the top of my head and it seems you've done some searching.

maybe this bump will allow someone to shed some light. ;)

Hi vmills,

We've done some work on reservations systems (including hotels), and most purchasing software is pretty expensive.

What are your objectives here? I know of at least one "beginner" medium sized CRM package that is quite flexible- sticky me if you want the URL. (Nothing to do with me, and it's not PHP though - windows based, over a corporate intranet. Quite robust and flexible tho'!)
