Xsl-fo

How do I display unformatted text.

I've been experimenting with xsl stylesheets and xsl-fo formatting objects.

Generally the results seem quite good.

However, I can't find a way to display text which I don't want formatting. In HTML, this would be the equivalent of putting text inside a <pre></pre> tag.

Has anybody else had this problem, and how did they get round it?
