Can You Recommend A PHP Password Script?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a simple PHP password script. I was hoping some knowledgable folks could recommend one.

I have a one-page site that I want to prevent others from seeing.

I need the script to be brain-dead simple. I don't want it to use MYSQL. I'm only going to have one username and password so MYSQL just complicates things for me. :-)

Any ideas? I've been looking through some of the script libraries online, but the scripts I've come across all use MYSQL.

Thanks for any suggestions!

are you on Apache? you could just use .htaccess

that is probably the easiest way

try these links
[httpd.apache.org...]
[httpd.apache.org...]

depends on your version

jatar_k,

Thanks for the references. The content on those pages looks pretty technical for a simple-minded guy like me (I don't have a clue about PHP), so I'll pay someone at one of the worker-for-hire sites to code a quickie script for me.

Thanks again. I really appreciate your help.

don't do that, it's a waste, some hosts have a one button way to do this in the site manager, mine does at least

or try this search [google.com] for some other threads
