Do I need to set "Last-Modified" date in a WordPress Blog for SEO? If so, how? What is best? XbitHack or with php? I am thinking php...?
I am using wordpress 2.01

The blog does have a text timestamp for the date of post like most blogs...

Any tips? thanks.

I think the Permalink URLs in Wordpress are done through the htaccess changes. I don't know of any way to return a Last Modofied Date when you use the Rewrite Engine to fake static pages from dynamic.

Thanks.

I posted a few times at the WordPress site over the weeks but no answer there at all.

I am beginning to think that Blogs don't really need this server header to be set... They do have the timestamp in plain html text...
