Image functions

I am trying to resize an image when I upload it, currently it is being sized down by static html and becomes pixelated.

I have looked at all the functions on php.net but I am not sure which ones I need.

If you are resizing with the GD Library functions, you can resize either jpg,png or gif images. There are some classes on the PHP classes repository for image resizing:
