false error at end of javascript

I edited my javascript page.
It has two sets of matching braces -- {}

One set is at the javascript level.

The other set is at the php level.

I inadvertently deleted the php enclosures
around the ending 'php' brace.

Sure is a strange diagnostic.

Finally found it after reading the earlier post
with the same topic name AFTER wasting a day.
