I work for a communications company. We currently use our eMail to send clients PDFs of the work that we do for them. We also have our clients send us large files for use in the work that we do for them. When we need to send large files, we us a monthly paid system called Whale Mail.

I am looking for an FTP system that would allow us to manage our client's files through our web site.

Needed Features:
"Browser Administration
"User-Friendly
"Personal/protected client accounts and upload folders
"eMail Admin when client uploads/downloads files
"eMail client a link to download file
"Under $100 US

Whale Mail has a nice feature where I upload the file, select the uploaded file and using the online address book, select the client to send an email with a link to download the file. No FTP software or browser login required to retrive the file. WM does not allow my clients to upload files for me to download unless I give them my main User Name and Pass.

This would be a nice added feature to include with the system that I am looking for. It would also be nice the have the client approve the file (Like a blue line) for my records.

I have found several FTP managers but they are not very user-friendly and only email the admin when files are up/down loaded.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi magicbag, and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com].

Generally we write our own code in this forum and help each other when we come across issues. If you are looking for pre-written code you are likely best off starting with some of the open source repositories like sourceforge, freshmeat, hotscripts, etc. Often times you will find a solution that either fits the bill or is quite close that you could modify to meet your needs.

Thank you for your reply...Sorry for posting in the wrong section.
I have searched the script sites. Right now I think FileTrack might work for us.
