php directory solutions

I want a php/mysql directory system to manage reciprocal linking, having reviewed hotscripts the two that stand out our

phplinkdirectory &
esyndicate pro

Both have some good reviews (although reading some of them i wonder who wrote them...). anybody able to comment on benefits of either, or recommend any others?

My suggestion is to try them out and see which one best fits your needs.

thanks, i'll be doing that later. i'm interested in people's experiences using these or other tools. it's not always easy to find the quirks in test but difficult to deal with them once fully installed
