phpMyAdmin Relation View not displaying

On my local testing server I have discovered that I can no longer setup a relationship. I have previously setup the phpmyadmin database and added the tables needed. Also setup the config file to reflect the pma database settings and the pma user for mysql.

I can see my previous "relationships" in the pma_relation table, but they do not display in the corresponding databases!?!?

I have tried deleting the phpmyadmin table and reimporting...didn't fix.

Tried d/l latest phpMyAdmin and did a "clean" setup of it...recreating the config.ini.php and the phpmyadmin table using create_tables.sql script...didn't fix.

Any help would be appreciated...

never mind...the config file was name config.ini.php when copied back over...not config.inc.php.
